One disc and the bleeder will be fine, even if you didn't have a bleeder valve you can still bled the system out by cracking the banjo bolt , plus I have a vacuum bleeder setup , long story short this is not my first rodeo .

I am not going to lie , it took about three tries to get the holes drilled properly using the first plate and a set of calipers I finally got it , this time I worked a little smarter, I drilled the three holes first then when I got all the holes all lined up I cut out the bracket, the result is...

I had a leftover caliper from a 660 Rhino project that I worked on last year , it is brand new , I decided to see if I could make it work on here. After looking at pretty much every CB200T hydraulic brake conversion I could find on the internet I realized two things, on every thread either...

Exhaust clamps are in , the air filters also but I sent the air filters to the wrong address so I have to make a run to pick them up. The clamps work well on the muffler side but won't quite clamp down on the header pipe so I may have to beer can shim it or cut a slot in the tube and beer can...

    CB200T cafe racer build

I got the tabs welded onto the battery box and I started painting it with Rust oleum peel coat, basically plastidip, I picked up about 20 cans at Walmart a few years back for $1.50 a can. I figured the plastidip will gave the box at least some insulation just in case Murphy strikes. Anyway this...

I have one sidecover polished up , I still needs just a bit but it's looking good , The guy that had this must have been a bodyman because he painted everything including the top triple tree clamp and handlebar risers, I have remedied that situation. I think that the brushed finish turned...

Seat base is drilled and tapped, the sidecovers are mounted to it with six button head allen stainless steel screws. I am going to have to cut the wood down on the seat base just a bit to get it to slide forward, no biggie.

Thanks I am trying to get the main fab work done before I have to start doing actual work again. I just got released by the ortho Dr from my hip replacement Wednesday. So after thinking about the bending brake I decided to just redneck bend it , I would have had to load the bike up and haul it...

    CB200T cafe racer build

Aluminum is in for the side-covers so I made a set of side-covers , I do still have to do some filing and fitting , then sanding and polishing but you get the general idea , I also need to borrow my friends sheet metal brake and bend the side-covers out slightly at the bottom , I did get the...

Ok here is the part where it's better to be lucky than good . on the stock muffler brackets the rear bolt hole not only lines up it put the muffler in the correct position . so what I am going to do is lop off the other mounting tab in the front of the bracket , then cut the bracket and weld...

I don't know that it matters anything is better than the rusty crusty stock exhaust system that came with this bike. I also found these on Amazon if the other clamps don't work these should , the connector piece comes in at around 38 mm OD which is 1.496 in inches...

    CB200T cafe racer build

I bought an 1 3/8" top rail fence connector tube from Lowes and cut it in half, it is just the right size to slide the two pipes into after removing some zinc slag from inside the pipe , a couple of exhaust clamps and it should be good to go. And here is how it looks on the bike. all mounted...

    CB200T cafe racer build

Header pipes came in today and just as I thought they had to be stretched just a bit , these CB175 head pipes are a little bit shorter which works fine on this bike and the angle is slightly off as I suspected. One thing I do like about the header pipes is they are single-wall , not double-...
