New pictures up soon. We completely rebuilt the harness, went to fire her up, and discovered a short in the ignition switch. Just ordered a new ignition switch and keys from dime city. Here's to another week or so before she's back on the road. FML. Also, we didn't make it to the show on...

Okay, I've been saying I would post some pics for the last couple of weeks, so here they are. I sanded the tank, relocated the speedo, mounted the tail light and license plate holder, put on the new springs, clip ons, etc. I still haven't wired it or put the carbs back on. We'll be painting...

I considered some other options for the seat (I also tried to talk my wife into hard tailing it), but since this is inevitably going to be her bike I got out voted. She really likes the single seat and the stance on it. I am welding brackets on to hold the seat bracket up a little higher. I...

I cut the fork covers off. My forks are super rusted underneath. I ordered new headlight mounts from Dime City and will be cleaning up the forks and putting the new mounts and headlight on when they get here. I'm going to take her over to a buddies house and make up a fender and rear hoop...

Picked up my new single seat and seat springs from a local shop. Chop Sui Motors here in Spokane WA. The guy that owns it is awesome. Really nice, super fair prices if you happen to be in town. Plus a guy from our local boards is possibly coming through to get her all wired up. If the local...

I like. I'm not a huge fan of ape hangers, but the overall look of the bike is very nice. I really like that tank.

My tax return cleared my bank account 10 minutes ago. It's 4:30am in my neck of the woods. Perfect time to order some parts. My wife is asleep, so she can't say no. I should not be allowed to have access to the internet on this little sleep with money in my wallet. The interwebs set fire to...

    Shocks?

What are people using? I am looking to switch my nasty old struts over in the next week or two on my CB500/4. I'm not trying to spend more than $200. I'm on a tight budget with this project, and I have some other parts and metal that I need to pick up to get her back on the road as soon as...

    New ^%$#ing 360 project. I'm a noob I need help.

The battery is probably toast, and then you are probably flooding it trying to kick it that many times. Pull your plugs, let them dry, and replace the battery. It sounds like you aren't getting spark at some point, or it's flooded, or both. That's my $.02.

More work done. I got bored and decided to pull the carbs, so that I could clean the transmission. I also pulled the struts, because let's face it, they're just..... stupid looking. This is probably 3/4 of the way done. It was filthy. Clean!!! You could eat off this...
