$1 side number plates.

Fear My Twin

Chicks hate my bike.
Since I had a huge dent in one of my air boxes I had it in the back of my mind that I wanted to either find a new metal cover or put number plates on the bike in replace of the metal side covers.

Being lazy and cheap I knew if I waited long enough I would find some pre-cut piece of circular metal which I could use as a number plate. I was at the .99 store yesterday and found a set of 6 stove heating element covers, two of each size for $1. Snatched them up and brought them home. The medium size covers the entire airbox so after punching a hole in the center of the cover I just widened out the hole and bolted it right up to each side of the airbox. Now I just need to get a set of viynl number and throw them opn the plates which are already painted white.

Cant beat $1 number plates that are cut to size and white already

Hope this is useful to someone.

Currently at work but I can certainly have a couple up by 6 est. No numbers on the plates yet. But you can use your imaginantions. ;)
