I saw it on ebay too and coppied the pics. That thing is so sweet. I bought a '81 GPz 550 in 1981 from the local Kawi dealer. The bike was a dream. A factory cafe racer that you could buy of the showroom floor. I have an '81 KZ1000 CSR that I want to turn into a ELR clone.

For a North American Kawasaki Racing fan, this is one of the coolest road race bikes EVER! 8)

I remember the release of the S1 and I believe there was only 1 of them that came to Canada. You needed a top resume as a racer to get your hands on one.

The chance to get one in such pristine condition is rare indeed! In my mind, it's hard to justify that kind of money for ANY motorcycle, but this one might be it.

I "saved" the pics too. Can't pass that opportunity up! ;D
