Progress. I have this cut out of aluminum now but got called out of shop without getting a pic. It needs spacers on the back and a bracket to the axle nut to be finished

Looking good mate. I'm always impressed by how you guys customize these brackets to get other calipers to fit on the rotors. Is there any science behind it or do you all just make it look it easy?

No pics, I left phone 2 floors up but was not sleeping at 3 am so hit the shop for an hour or so. Knocked out the final alloy bits. Just need a strip of thinner than 1/4" to bolt to the bottem and tie into the axle bolt for stability. Pic of what I will do. it happens happily that 2 layers of the 1/4" puts me flush to the fork and axle bolt so I doubled up, will grab some 1/8" flat and make the last piece then tap the bracket and mount it with some button head hex head stainless screws I have.

I just started with the mdf, made some measurements cut some, ruined one. Tried again and got it right. Traced it on the alloy and jigsawed and hack sawed and belt sanded till it fit. Then used washers to space it side to side for clearance.

Yup, just what I thought. You all just make it look easy

Great work, I'm watching this thread so closely! Winter sucks for riding, but often the best work gets done on long awaited projects.

Yep, winter goes fast qhen working on bikes. Got it mounted. Good clearance and good amount of pad contact. Might be overkill but all alloy so weighs nothing
