OK made a deal to go grab this little gem. Titled complete non runner. Looks like mostly elbow grease is all it will take to get it going and a mild tracker look is the plan. My 16 yr old is supposed to help and give input as it will be his when done, we'll see how that goes. It may get moved to another thread if he's not keen on the tracker idea. Pics from the FB message.

Yes, I love the fact there are like 20+ nice build threads on here. I can get lots of ideas and learn what "Not" to do without making the mistakes myself. Just hope the guy gets back to me soon to go grab it as the weather is getting shitty and I want to get it home, clean the carb and put new oil and fire it up before stripping for the clean and re-build.

Also, re-pop parts are available reasonable X-Taiwan for these bikes. First time in a while I'll be doing one that parts aren't super rare or super expensive.

Hey Mike. I know you've talked about doing a Tracker w/ it, but since I've been your seat provider in the past I may be able to help you again. If you think that a gray upholstered single seat w/ a hump on the back might work for ya I'll try and scare up a picture.

Sure, the jury is still out on final design. I picked tracker but it may go cafe or just resto-mod depending on input from Magoo once I get it home.

Looks like this. Might be nice on a smaller bike like that one. Of course it might cramp his style a little if he's planning to take the girls for rides!

Think about it and send me a msg w/ an offer. It can be "cheap + postage" you won't offend me. Might take a little time to get it out to you. Mrs Ridesolo had a knee replacement earlier this week so I'm pretty busy trying to channel my inner Nurse Rachet to take care of her.

No worries, I'll show it to Magoo and if he's keen will send an offer and it can take all winter to get to us LOL.

Of course being such a different than usual color it might sorta drive what color you end up with as a final scheme, but for my tastes, I kinna like it... different than the usual and boring black.

It's almost the same colour as my 2-up GL seat an that goes well with Blue which Magoo is partial too so that may work.

Nice one Mike, looks like a perfect winter project. Sorry for the delay in getting that fender shipped by the way - I put my back out last week and was poleaxed on the couch. I'll try and get it on its way today.

Yeah no kidding. We've gotten off lightly so far, but no doubt winter's vengeance will be mighty. Great looking bike you've got here, I'll enjoy watching you make it Magoo's.

Looks like a nice complete bike......I like these little boogers.

Got a CB100 myself.

Yep, guy messaged likely Sat to meet to get it. Hope so, I'm itching to get at another project bad. Magoo is excited too, for now at least. We'll see how it goes once there is actual work to be done on it LOL.
