1975 CB125 Tracker project

Well the signals from Scarborough shit the bed en-route so seller refunded the $30 bucks. Jumped back on and found these X-Merica for $3 more, hopefully these work out. I couldn't confirm the sockets but they look right for the bulb swap.

Had a chance to clean up and paint a few more small bits. No one sees them but they had some minor rust and flaking or scratched paint so a good clean, some sanding and heat them and paint and I can step outside just long enought to coat them then back in to cure. Got the airbox cover and tool box. Forgot to take a pic of the box. Thats back in place now.

Trying to keep momentum waiting on parts. Hoping the new front brake lands today. it cleared customs 11 days ago and most of the stuff has arrive 8-9 days from that point so far. Also these little unseen parts don't have to be pretty. I can just blast paint on and if there are runs or peel who cares. I just need to avoid fumes getting in, and since wifey isn't home and kids are 3 floors up I take the chance LOL. so far done it 3 times with the VHT chassis paint on stuff.

while waiting on parts I've discovered there are 6V LED headlight bulbs but they are really pricey compared to the 12V. Demand I bet. I'll keep looking but the lowest cost one was around $75 shipped. Hard to swallow that when the tail light bulb was less than $10. I wonder if the tail light in the headlight would work? I'll have to see. I have a spare tail light socket I can rig up. Need to see if the lens is sealed or if the bulb can be replaced in it.

Scratch that, had a weird filter on or something, searched again and they can be had on a slow boat for $10 as well.

Ordered 2 of these. coming x china I want a spare on the bike with him incase it craps out.

I'll hit the junk yard at lunch for the H4 socket.

Lunch score. Go to junk yard 5 min away and walk the yard for 3 min and spot a yaris you know uses H4 go over see busted headlight unit worth $0. Rip it off walk up to owner and say how much?. Free LOL. Rest of lunch with melting out ice and tearing apart and.

Tonight we will mate them together.

Haven't tackled the socket yet. No bike time after supper yesterday. ABS filament arrived already. 4into1 order landed which isn't anything fancy but needed. Fuel cap, battery strap and gas tank rubber coupler. So they are installed as I grabbed a battery last week. Still waiting on the front brake stuff so I can figure that out then finish the front end tear down, clean up and re install. after that there's not too much to do until weather improves for painting stuff.

Looking good Mike. Even though he won't be doing much night time riding anything you can do to make sure you are SEEN by the other drivers is a big plus.
