1975 CB125 Tracker project

Ok. IDK if its a small bike thing or 1975 tube type rim thing but these are absolutely the easiest tires I have ever removed. No bead breaking and after the spoons get a little over the rim they peel right off. Anyway. Front goes on after supper.

didn't get a pic but front mounted no drama after some pizza. Can't check balance as the bearings are too small for the axle on the stand so will have to go old school and wait to check balance on the forks.

Nice when you get to the reassembling permantly stage. Rear tire and fender back on for good.

And after he gets some miles on we will seriously consider a tidy up of the rear. That tail is huge.

I like to swap large tail lights w 69, cb350.
smaller oval is a sporty shape, keeping a Honda look.

Chrome was shot and the headlight ears were mangled. So we straightened then out, sanded them up and hit with the vht chassis epoxy. These took enought paint I caught shit for the smell. Even though I was in garage.

That looks good man.. What is the paint that you used? did you spray any primer?

I do a bit of spray painting in the basement, when we hit the depths of winter. I bought a 36" dia grow light shade at a yard sale, $20. Put a hose to a small blower with a speed control and vent it out the dryer vent. A shower curtain hanging from it makes the booth. Takes about 5 minutes to hook it up. I just turn it on low when I'm spraying. You still end up with a bit of odour but not near as bad and it dissipates much more quickly. It definitely has helped with the shrieking noise that use to come from upstairs when I would paint.

Ha. Yep. A vent system would help. That is VHT chassis epoxy and no primer needed. I use it a lot for blacknparts and it is pretty durable paint.

Mounted the ears and the bucket. Light in for looks. Can't mount permanent until LED lands in a few more weeks.

New signals landed and of course the bulb sockets don't match the LEDs I ordered so I need to replace them. I have 3 so far and I am still digging in parts bins to find 1 more. I am pretty sure I have some but where is the question LOL. Other than that they are a decent size and look ok.

And the lord said let there be light!

Then front end is almost back together.

The brake line it way too long but we're going to use it for now.
