1976 CB750 Into the Sunset

Working on some mini side covers. Still fine tuning the shape. Will probably drill some holes or open a large area and back it with mesh.

Refined the shape, welded up the mounts, made the matching left side (sorry no Pics of that one), installed with temp hardware.







Oh, and painted the oil tank and battery box. Started making the new oil lines, but didn't take pictures.

+1 second one looks best to me too. Funny I was playing in paint after seeing your side covers and thought I'd do something similar to hide the wires on the CX with a swoosh going the opposite way from the one on the tank.

So, appliance epoxy is available in a "Stainless" color. I think I am going to go that route.

I really like that finish. Haven't seen that color in the appliance epoxy before, but I use the black for damn near everything on the XL.
