So I found a 1976 Honda cb360t in a guys barn who has owned it for 30 yrs. Crazy story how I found it. However, the bike is in near mint condition. No rust anywhere on the frame or tank. Exhaust is perfect. The bike didn't run since 2001 the guy said. I bought it for $500. Had it running the first night I got it home.

Now im stuck trying to figure out what I want to do with the bike. Do I want to turn it into a cafe racer? Or since its totally stock and perfect do I leave it like that? I could use some help from you guys on ideas. Maybe pictures? Ill post pics of it all cleaned up but heres some in in the barn I found it in.

Check the cam chain tensioner - if it hasn't been replaced, do so, or sell the bike.

Clean it up and sell it to someone who desires an all original bike for five times what you paid. Use the money from the flip to buy another bike and go-fast parts.

What do you think its worth cleaned up and running? Remember the low miles

If you have ever wanted a mint unmolested bike then you are finished except for the cleaning. But if you want something else you now have the path to get there. I have seen a bike like that cleaned up bring 2500 to the right buyer....you could make a very nice lightly modified cafe or brat .... I am almost sure if you part out the pieces you don't want they should bring good money. I am sure a 360t wont end up in the Smithsonian so I would do what bring me the most happiness ....nice find...you lucky bastard Lol
Ps it will be hard to find simpathy for your situation:'(

I agree with the majority here, keep it original. From your question I can tell you agree or you have already started removing parts. If you don't want an original, sell it and use the profit to buy one to cut up and all the parts you need. Nice find, I'm jealous.
