Cool.... I'm debating on upgrading to the ELD4 charging system and the crank fired ignition from EME. That'll be in the home stretch of my build, not cheap. looking good. Seat reminds me of a BSA seat with the little bump.

Thanks! BSA Bates is very much the intention. I need to look at the EME ignition

Going pretty practical on the gauge with an Acewell 1100. I have the BMW adapter for the speedo. I also did a rebuild on the R100 m/c. As well as these BMWs are engineered, their master cylinders all find a way to leak.

When one needs to go on adventures, one needs adventure stuff. Roughed out a rear rack that bolts to the subframe. The plan is to be able to mount combinations of roll top bags. I don’t plan to run it all the time. It’ll be a quick 10 min bolt on or off.

Thanks, y’all.

Also finally got my seat properly mounted. Just a simple bar that it hooks into up front and a GSXR pillion latch in the back. Might not seem like much, but this gets the seat to it’s intended angle and mount height.

After going idle way too long on this build, I finally got the clutch rebuilt and I installed the Enduralast alternator. There’s a push to have this riding the first week of June.

I've long wanted to know how to improve my seat fixing game. I've heard of this latch mechanism but did not have the first clue how it works. Got any more info on the set up Irk? Or am I overthinking it?

Pretty simple. Two arrow shaped pins attached to the seat fit into the piece with two holes attached to the frame. There’s a cable the same as a clutch or drum brake cable that’s connected to a lever that retracts two pins in the holes to release the seat. I added the hook at the front of the seat, but I’ve also run that latch alone just fine. The cable is hidden in the frame under the seat.

Got the Mo Unit Blue installed and now the wiring begins. New frame and subframe parts got painted with a chassis black. I’m making a push to be riding before June.

The left side handlebar switch I got used in EBay doesn’t work, except the horn button. I made a temporary replacement to hold me over until a new one comes from EME. Im’a put this on a 750 chopper eventually.
