Been there twice this year! Got some great bikes in there, thought you would have had a pic of the best bike in the place the hand made Britten! I also really like the Matchless G45 plus the various racers with the hand made alloy tanks. Some good inspiration there for sure :)

It's a lovely place. I definitely saw the Britten and I'd rather enjoy the moment rather than constantly take pictures. Once this project is finished I'll probably ride there again. Some of those twists look like fun!

Just thought I'd post an update. I've been currently busy with work and life in general that it's been hard to post more updates but the good news is that the bike is almost complete. I've recently setup the old harness again and wired up all of the connections. Some of the pros of this:

-Original Honda wiring harness is in decent shape.
-Charging system was tested prior to disassembly and all tested well

Cons:

-The PO fucked up the harness and did a shit solder job on some of the connections. (which have now been fixed by my shit bullet connector job.)
-Had to re-route power from ignition to headlight so that it turns on as soon as ignition is switched on.

Things learned:

-A volt meter is VERY handy when it comes to electrical. So is a 12v test light dongle.
-The Original Honda wiring is a hell of a mess and I don't understand why they just stuffed everything in the bucket.
-Learned some basic electrical theory.

Anyway, it seems like all the lights are now working. Ignition power was re-routed to headlight so that it is always on and high-beam indicator/high-beam switch wire are now merged into 1 wire, routing to the headlight dongle. This makes the left hand high-beam/low-beam switch act a little funky. Essentially I have to have it on either high-beam or low-beam for the light to function as a low-beam, and in order for me to switch to high-beam I have to flip the switch right in the middle of the high/low setting on the left hand control. That's no problem as I live in the city and I won't use the high-beam as much. I'll probably pay the local shop to re-do my entire harness or maybe re-do it myself but electrical is a big pain in the ass and not my strong suit.

Pics (don't mind the shit wiring mess. Just for test purposes):

Just need to make some custom taillight and blinker brackets and weld them on the bike and it's all set. Next stop is starting her up for the first time!
