1980 yamaha sr250 engine swap

I have a 1980 Yamaha sr250 I am working on turning it into a bobber. I need to replace the engine but I don't want to put a 250 back on it I would like something a bit bigger. if anyone has any suggestions on what would be a good engine for me to be a lot of help thanks.

You can fit a bigbore piston and alternatively you can fit an XT250 engine... That's pretty much your only options for simple alternatives
