No they don't, but they have the seal/diaphragm thing under the lid so they seem to seal up pretty good. I'll go get a couple pix of how I have mine mounted right now if that'll help w/ your decision. I needed one for the front and couldn't resist... had to get a pair so they'd "match." Hate it when I get that into my head! They are small, simple, and effective. Vibration broke the top fairing mounts yesterday so I had the fairing off today replacing the aluminum w/ steel. W/ the fairing off there's a good view of the front one.
In this case I believe I searched out a seller that was a US shipper. Some of the Chinese sellers seem to do that, maybe they have Canadian outlets, too? In general, though I've had fairly good luck w/ shipping from China. Not always... that nylon stuff that I have covering the brake lines, and wire looms took months. I've had other stuff come in less than a week. It's kind of a crapshoot but if you check out the expected delivery date in the ad you can usually pick a seller who is faster and doesn't ship via "slow boat." I think the best I ever did was a little CCD camera that I got to mount on the back of the truck cab so I could hitch up w/o having a spotter. The stupid little thing cost me $3.88, shipping included and I had it in five days! AND it works perfectly.

That looks great and for $10 no brainer! I wouldn't buy a master cylinder knock off, but for just the reservoir, heck yeah.
I have also found more and more Chinese sellers having "on-site" presence. Quite a few small parts I've bought recently have been shipped from Ontario and not china.
They must be setting up some small distribution centers to battle the chronically slow shipping times out of china.
Often my experience w/ getting stuff from China has been that the package hits North America but then sits in Customs or somewhere like that before FINALLY getting to the buyer. Most likely by establishing an in-country office/warehouse they are able to get quantities of product processed in bulk, insuring faster service for the buyer.
Side covers and fenders painted and cleared. I've heard that 2k can sometimes come out a bit spitty but up until today I'd never had that problem. Made sure the can was warm and all that but definitely didn't come out 100%. I'm more than happy with it though, think they'll look ok once they're mounted. Couldn't stop myself demasking some of the stainless grill either.

Yeah Mike - I remember now that warming 2K before use isn’t a good idea. To be honest I only left it out in the sun for a few minutes before using it and shook the shit out of the can. But you’re right, maybe that had something to do with it. It’s not awful - the paint I used (VHT rollbar and chassis paint) was a bit of a battle too, also came out a bit spitty. That, or I need to level up my game.

warming the VHT will help that one but spitty nozzles happen, I've bought 3 cans of the same paint and had 2 of the 3 nozzles be bad so I swapped the one good one onto all 3 cans. I have also learned to test fire at something other than the part for the first spray as big spitty globs will ruin your day
Genius solution for a simple problem. Would never have thought of doing that.
I’ll take some photos today now that the clear is drier. Room for improvement but I’m happy enough with how they came out. I’m a bit of a perfectionist at times which can be a bit of a challenge - I’m learning (or forcing myself!) to know where to draw the line.

Clearances behind the side panels I've made are tight, so remade the bracket I knocked up to support the front of the rear fender to what (I've recently rediscovered) is the rear brake reservoir bracket -
Along with a few other parts this bracket was painted black yesterday. The small cutout will allow me to bolt on another (yet to be finalized) bracket to hold said reservoir. Securing the front of the rear fender means I can extend the fender further - keeping more muck off the battery and swingarm. Mounted one of the side panels to check clearances (all good), have since painted the steel clamps I made to secure it to the frame black. Here's a teaser, really like how the satin reflects light off the angular surfaces, and the stainless mesh sets it off nicely -
I'd like to blacken out the three bolts too securing the covers - any ideas? Paint will probably just come right off the first time I tighten them.
Black oxide steel bolts would do it, ideally I'd like something like this. Anyone know a decent supplier in Canada where I can pick up a few?

The owners set it up after having a hard time finding fasteners to rebuild their VW camper van.
I made an order last month and had a very smooth transaction. I think I ordered about 70 different stainless bolts, from M4 to M10 to replace on my bike. Local options are slim here and require you standing there for an hour picking through boxes.
Found everything their site, ordered, done deal! Let them do the sorting and packaging.
Came organized nicely in small bags. I will definitely use them again. I paid $14 for shipping to west coast but for you it's probably a fraction of that.
The prices was more than reasonable and I will gladly spend $14 to not have to pick 70 bolts and washers out of bins on my own ... or drive to the store altogether.

Great info Charlie, I'll definitely look them up. Having a local fastener supplier will be very helpful indeed. Ended up at CT anyway (it is a day that ends in a Y after all) and picked up some black allen bolts which'll do the job nicely.
Pissed it down today, got a bunch of little jobs finished. Many aspects of riding and building motorcycles are rock n roll - shimming rubber washers down to size is not really one of them. Still, now the clamps I made won't scratch the shit out of the side covers. Horns painted and polished, rear fender mounted and tail light installed. Slowly shaping up.
