I am actually thinking of redoing my seat to a rigid seat mounted up onto the fender so well see, but main priority at the moment is getting her running then i will redo the seat
Well Got around to finishing the last bit of wiring, set the valve clearance, set the timing, cleaned carbs etc and got her to fire up... bike is running, not smooth but ill be tinkering with it the rest of the weekend so hopefully i can take it for a spin around the block in a day or two just need to cut and install chain then extend exhaust...
On to the pictures
Nice one! Those bars are awesome and everything looks slick and clean.
If I may suggest something...the carbs are the only non-"clean" looking part of the bike now. Are you able to give them a bit of a blasting or maybe a lick of paint? That'd finish it off cosmetics wise for me
Thanks for the feedback guy! I was really eager to get the bike running so i just gave them a quick clean along with new jets etc and slapped them on but i will be taking them off for new jets as its currently running rich and will probably soda blast them or just paint
Thanks every one!
you know the bars do look peculiar in pictures but honestly they feel very comfortable when riding i think I will post some rolling shots
Heres a short video i shot of my brother on the bike with a cell phone so the quality isnt all that great.
Also it's misfiring in the video but thats all fixed now and running much smoother
