Are you worried at all about the battery being attached to the swing arm? I understand that it's close to the pivot point so it shouldn't effect rebound rates or anything all that much, and it is nice to have the weight low, but just the concern of vibration and jolting would be a fear of mine. I'm not trying to be critical or anything please take my comments as pure curiosity.

I understand your questions and to be honest i am not 100 percent sure ifit will effect the battery life, but i am not the first who did it so im not very afraid

I would say where you have it will get very little more vibration or shock than the stock position, that part of the swinger won't move much at all. pack it in some foam and use a AGM and you'll have 0 worries I think.

Got my seat back today, i think its coming together very nice

turned out pretty nice. what colour scheme are you doing for the tank? A Gulf oil blue/orange would go good with that seat.

Thanks all, im definitely building it to ride it so a bike without fenders is a no go in the dutch climate. I think it looks better with fenders than without them as well

Small update: got a new front tire fitted, polished the forks and had a very necessary fork oil change

Metalwork, technics and electronics are done! It just needs some fresh colours and a few minor details!

I have never seen so much potential in these! The beefy 17'' front wheel looks so cool and the way you have managed to match the side covers to the tank looks fantastic - nice work! Good job on the subframe and seat as well :)

A random thought for a 4-banger like this... Have you considered UEL (unequal length) headers? I have seen a few people achieve the Subaru WRX burble on Honda engines and I am just thinking it would be cool to do on a Honda bike - probably never been done. But it is definitely a subjective thing. Check it out:
