It’s funny cause I noticed later in the pic I think one of the engine mounts may be a spare from the Hondamatic and I don’t know what another one is for. Hahaha. I need to get organized

If you know someone who suffers w anxiety or panic disorder....please be both, encouraging and patient w them.

Finally, I let myself get completely overwhelmed w this last task. Been doing nothing these past couple weeks.

Got the freshly rebuilt, yet "less desirable" rims swapped w the nice ones I already had installed on the Black Knight.
Whew, that is a huge load off my mind. Im so happy that job is now done.
Ready and excited to start building the actual project.

Man those wheel look great, well worth all your time and effort. Great to hear you got over that hump - my man, Avante!

Thanks so much bud. I feel I really got lucky finding an original pair as clean as these are.

I too somehow missed out.
My favorite vintage bike.
I've been looking for one for another project for a while now.
Jealous and watching!

After digging through, every friggin box,
I found all my new fork bits.
Except for the dust covers. Argh.

Gonna have to dive in deeper this next round of hunting.

Sprayed last parts in epoxy.

Man, you must have knocked over a stray Honda Parts truck. Nice stash!

Parts have a tendancy to hide. I remember clearly that there was a like-new air filter in the present project when I brough it home. Three weeks of digging while looking for other things and I finally ordered a new one. I'll tip over the old one the day after the new one arrives. Have you had luck with aftermarket seals, or do you use only Honda?

Leaning towards a stock color...red, yellow, blue. In that order. Though I really like green.

Green is always good! I'd go with something unique but not radical, myself...not factory but not screaming "custom!"

Ed: or do a stock color and make it a little extra...like the factory red color but a candy over silver...

Ive used aftermarkets in the Black Knight and maybe Cherry Bomb. They are fine. It’s just whatever’s the easiest option at the moment of purchase. I spent a bit of extra time on the Honda site for this bike. So the Honda seals were just a click.

I really like that Honda green I posted. It’s a neat factory color.
