400four, Dueling Banjos

Haha Yeah I won't be doing that again anytime soon.

thanks so much guys.

The new Sharkhide in a spray can works great, though it does nock the gleam down a notch or 2...
Im wondering if I can't polish the Sharkhide haziness out a bit???

Polishing, by itself, prevents oxidation. That's part of the point. Hitting with Nevr Dull or similar as a routine maintenance is all that is necessary. I wouldn't use Sharkhide at all.

the Sharkhide is already done. I dont want any routine maintenance...Thats why I am trying it. Time will tell.

Of course, but by routine maintenance I mean every one to three years, sometimes longer.

good move cleaning up those castings...

I got a buddy hare at the University, retired drag racer turned flat tracker...he told me to start doing it...

So I do it.

And it sucks cause we had plans of going through this engine together. So I could learn a thing to two...

Fucking corona...

Harder to do that stuff virtually
Yes Sir, it sucks. I was REALLY looking forward to spending some time w Jerome and getting to know him better.
He seems like one hell of a good guy. And genuinely excited to see my project here.

Heads all buttoned up and tested for zero leaks, waiting for new piston kits to arrive from davidsilverspares...
Woke up to one cold, windy, rainy ass day.
Perfect for coffee, turn up the tunes and take care of a few small odd jobs, cleaning and reorganizing, this pig sty.

Your pig sty looks a lot like my pig sty.

But, bet you know zactly where everything is.

He's got that problem I have where flat surfaces collect things... I hate cleaning my flat surfaces

I found that sharkhide kicked the shine down a degree or two, but on harder to reach places (like the valve cover) it was great as those parts are harder to get on and off - one application and you're done. I didn't know the stuff came in can, good to know.

I've lost more 10mm sockets than I've bought. It's a Bermuda Triangle type deal. I think 10mm nuts were invented purely so that 10mm sockets needed to be too, then sold, then lost by the shitload - all in an Illuminati-conceived plan to upset the moral order and civil code. "Breed disturbia in the garage" they said, "and New World Order will be ours".

Hey guys, been a while. Hope to find everyone’s healthy and keeping safe.

I been plugging away, both at the day job and home.

Update pics...

Working the bugs out of the new tank...

The pistons “looked” a little sketch. Got fresh.

I’ve read the cb350four cam sprocket can help reduce chain noise.
Worth a try...
