Today is my birthday. I treated myself with the best gift an NOS parts ADDICT could ever receive.

NOS CB400four head. Found on eBay. LOL.

Instantly identified, due to the fact Honda did not pre-cut the header threads in these.
The studs were driven in directly using an impact wrench.
I only seen one other for sale on CMSNL. 3500 euros...converts to $4500.00 usd.

"mrhonda-sandiego" really need to do his homework. I paid like $50 more than a good used head sells for.

Im thinking "Table Lamp" in the living room.

Ive already started collecting the NOS parts needed to complete this head. New Oil tubes, valves, etc.

Hey, nice!!! And a Happy Birthday, Eric! Congrats on making it this far.

Happy Happy day! Let's hope people keep selling without research. Makes these finds more fun. Done it myself, listing an Escapade trailer in mint condition for $900 BIN. Sold in 15 minutes. Next day a wrecked one went for over $3000.

Thanks so much guys!!! So far this has been a great birthday!!!
I took the day off work and its beautiful weather here.
Although, its Tuesday...trash day...I forgot that. Im sure I will catch hell when Rachel wakes up. :D
Until then its just...sweet silence and hot coffee.

CMSNL buys parts. So, I will sit on it for a year or so. Then, if they sell the one they got. Ill find out what they and David Silvers will offer up for it.
For the money I gave, it wouldn't be a big deal to shelve it for spares and one day, tap the holes, install and run the thing...if needed.

Picked up a nasty old Supertrapp for Supercheapp on the Ebay.

Someone has worked it over pretty good w steel wool trying to remove "Browning" and corrosion.
A bit of time spent wet sanding and a polish got her looking respectable again.
Repacked w the steelwooldirect.com "Muffpack" kit.
Made a bracket to tie it on.
