70's Survivor CL450 CHOPPER!

Picked this CL450 chopper up while on a moto trip from Buffalo, NY to Asheville, NC. Story has it that the original owner built this bike for his mistress in the 70's and it hid in the garage from his wife until just about a year ago. Cool points are the original paint weed leaf/bodacious babe tank/side covers, 16" HD rim laced to the original hub, neck is raked proper with original neck intact, 8" over forks, Lefco swingarm bracket to move the rear shocks back a few inches, trident sissy bar, mini apes, slash cut turnouts, chrome EVERYTHING...

Love it or hate it, there's no denying that this thing oozes 70's sleaze. So... What do I do with this thing?

Anyone have a flip-up king & queen seat? I think it would really set it off!

Probable not what you're looking for in a king queen, but you could have this one for shipping lol

Thanks for the offer dude but I'm going to hold out until I find something skinny and tall!

Heard that haha I literally haven't been able to give that thing away for years now!

I have this one to, but it's for a hardtail iron head, probably won't jive with your setup either.

Looking back on the bike again (lunchtime, kinda bored)... I really appreciate how it's a chopper, but they managed to keep the original frame essentially intact. While I love the look of some of the hardtails this bike looks awesome the way it is. I also like how they retained the front hub/brake. I know not running a front brake is the typical chopper aesthetic, but I don't much care for it.

As long as it's safe to ride, I'd ride it. Spend a little time here and there cleaning up stuff as you go. Maybe work up a cool front fork brace to eliminate the fender if you want that look, but otherwise have fun. Or sell it to me for a reasonable price... either way. :)

I wish I would have taken a better photo of the bottom shock mount relocating bracket. Says LEFCO on it. I have seen a lot of early Harley aftermarket Lefco parts but never anything for Honda. I'm having the bike delivered next month so I won't have any until that time.

I'll sell it but it won't be cheap cheap! But relatively cheap.

I like it. I have a similar bike but mine has a King and Queen seat. Can you post a close up of the front of the frame. I like how it's raked. Pic of mine is below.

Does your bike have a 19" front wheel? Mine looks so small. I might cut and weld the frame to stretch out the front like yours.

That bike is great!
Keep it as is for sure.
Just ride the wheels off of it and enjoy the conversations you end up having.

Dude. I need that seat. Fine me one! I would seriously appreciate it if you could take a pic of the bottom of that bad boy.

The bike is not currently in my possession- getting delivered next month so I'll take some better photos then. It's done really well though
