It is never done! Constantly changing.
But I think it belongs in here now.

All credit and special thanks goes to DTT for making this build possible.

Re: 73' TX750

You know I am a fan, sir. You need a picture with me sitting on it and eating, ha.

Thanks a lot guys, but you crazy bunch ;-) inspire me everyday!
I'll place a donut on there one of these days and tag Justin all over it. :)

Re: 73' TX750

As long as nothing changes, yes. I have the vacation set aside, and plan on riding down if at all possible........

Re: 73' TX750

Good, I can't wait to see you again this year Rich, and finally meet you Mike. This year is bound to be a good one. I don't think I will ride because I will be bringing camping gear and all. But either way I want to do some riding trips while there.

Re: 73' TX750

Where did you have that 2up seat made? I would like to get something similar for my cb500t... wife likes to ride.

I made the seat pan, then had a local upholstery shop take care of the rest.
All you have to do is get some sheet aluminum or steel. first, measure your frame lenght and width and then trace the shape of the frame on a cardboard, cut it, make sure it fits and replicate it on the metal. Get some foam, glue it on there and take to upholstery shop or try doing it your self. I have no upholstery skills but know a good guy who does, so..... It was a no brainer for me and had him do it. here are some photos from when I did the seat. http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=12979.40

^^^ Thank you Sir. I don't know what the heck happened, but I just noticed I posted this as an TX750 instead of a TX650. What a doof!

Eddie, I didn't see an official thread on the matter, but congrats on the article about your bike!

I feel honored to have seen the bike (and met you) in person.
