75 CB200T build

Not many people talk about making a mount for a fairing. After 3 failed variations, I came up with one that bolts straight onto the stock headlight ears.

replaced the kickstart with a z50’s. It tucks away more flush against the bike and has better exhaust clearance since I needed spacers on the pipes to clear the longer suspension.

I am not a big fan of white on bikes as a rule, but that looks really clean and sharp. Nice work.

I wish I has come up with a simple fairing mount like yours. Mine, as always, is way too complicated.

Yeah, amen to that! I used the same fairing on the Hedgehog and my mount wasn't that simple; nicely done.

Thanks for the compliments. I’ve been waiting for m10 extenders, and hollow bolts for the turn signals, and they came today so finally got it all together. You really have to dig to find specialized M10 hardware in the states.

Also, the mirrors weren’t really functional where they were. So modified some bar ends to fit the hearts
.

Nice. If you want to make it even nicer, think about opening the gauges and changing the faces. The old honda green and blue just look like poo compared to the rest of the bike and work you did. This is a bike I could see my daughter on in 16 years or so, although it will likely be electric LOL.

Yeah I had originally planned to. I couldn’t find any good how to’s. Only that the older plastic gauges are more likely to break during that process though. So decided against it.

The battery went dead after a short run the other day. Guessing it's the $15 reg/rec that I had lying around. So got one from Sonreir. Will install over the weekend ;)

Photos today.
