I am to tired to take any pictures......but the head has been cleaned and prepped for paint. I opened up the ports a little and smoothed out all the ridges and castings inside the ports. The valves have been cleaned and lapped. vinegar works if you have patience!

Thanks, Yeah Its really good stuff. Its called METAL GLO Its comes in a tube and looks more like wax than polishing compound. It works really fast. Once I sanded them I only had about an hour at the wheel.

Those cleaned up good . Looks like they where already in good shape, they cleaned up nice!!

I got the valves back in and finished the paint. I will be bolting her back on tonight.

Thanks for all the compliments! I got the head on and side covers. I just hope it still looks like this once its in the frame. Here is my latest progress..

You should try and get a set of pics from exactly the same spot of each component being added on to make a film of it being pieced together.

I used vht wrinkle plus. (advanced auto) The silver is the vht header paint.

I was going to but didnt have the patience. It will be the same as the head. I did polish the tappet covers and the top breather/vent.

That would be really cool. I had never thought of that. I wish I had thought of that in the beginning. That would make a sweet video.
