good stuff mate.....
i cant wait too get my zed sebun pipty back on the road......
i too have done away with the battery......
now just trying to solve starter removal...... just have to make a 48mm plug....

these are sick bikes....
take her out for a few fresh photos...

also you're in oz yeah???

for the starter plug i just used some sheet metal that i could cut with tin snips and threw some RTV on the back and put it over the hole. works fine. if you can get it round it doesnt look bad. just make sure the rtv is the black stuff (oil resistant).

how hard is it to start yours without a battery? what size capacitor do you have on it? it takes me a good 15 kicks or so to get mine running with a 15000uf cap.

I'll take the camera out with me next time and grab some new shots.

Im in new jersey in the states.

i have no idea why i thought you were in oz....haha

i have no idea the size of the capacitor......

due to the fact that im still working on the bike and doing the electrics ive still got the battery in.....
although i briefly tested the capacitor.....(it started first go).....i had also just installed pods on there and its not even tuned......i was surprised she started straight up....

so hopefully by the time shes on the road again shes still starting first go......
i have seen some 40000 capacitors on ebay australia....about 40 bucks..... my capacitor looks pretty average compared to those ones... i got mine from the local bike race/dyno shop.....they use it on some race bikes there and he gave it to me for 10 bucks...
once its complete im getting them to dynotune her....

whats the chance of getting you to take a photo of the starter hole plug from the outside, i wanna check it out.

cheers and beers
