I agree, that would have looked far better, and I had thought to do that, but with the lights I had there wouldn't have been enough room behind the plate.Looks pretty good. I was thinking about the pix you showed me earlier and was going to say that it would look better if you mount the lights to the back and have them shine out through holes in the plate. Oh well.
I assume when you say trimming the ears your going to cut off along the yellow lines? I think that will make it perfect.
Damn this is lookin FAH.
(Fine as hell). I’m lovin how narrow it looks from the front

Thanks man! It will really help with all the rural north central Ohio lane splitting that I do.
Something along those lines, yes. though I may leave the bottom portion the full width and just trim the fork mounts off of the top portion. It's way easier to take more if I decide i want to than it is to add more back
Yes! Everyone needs a choppah!!!Dude I love this bike - yours and Irk’s and all the other choppers here make me want to build one so bad. They have a special place in the pantheon of cool - my Zappa stache, courtesy of Covid19, is shaping up so I feel like I’m halfway there now. Grow the Furs and The Chopper Will Come

I spent a good chunk of time fabbing up a tracker style a-symmetric "number plate" style headlight that integrated a trail tech.
After a bunch of work, layout and drilling, it turned out amazing (ly horrible) lol
It will look good on the wall of shame if nothing else.
