LOL. No worries mate. Chuck(s) is/are short for "Converse All-Stars" a real common shoe over here for guys who tend to ride/build these kind of bikes.

They're super comfy but they have very little padding or rubber on the bottom. When kicking bikes with a smaller rod type kick start repeatedly...as we do on these ol' bastards you get a real soft spot on the bottom of your foot.

The "DCC Chuck-start" eliminates that. :)

DC is another brand of shoes popular with skateboarders (as are chucks.)

I prefer Chucks to DC's because DC's tend to make my feet look "bloated" because they're thick with padding and such for comfort when skating.

Technically, Chucks are short for Chuck Taylor, the man who designed these shoes way back.
