You will never guess who sells them..."Spark House". I was off on the price, it is just under $40. The 2 year warranty peaked my interest as most others were like 60-90 days. Others are EMGO at $40, then you are into $45 MAGNA, from 4 into 1 which look just like Dyna's. Then prices go up. I just want something affordable that will last, not the 16 ebay/amazon crap. My old primary's ohm'd at 4.3, secondarys were open.Never heard of the brand, but that's pretty cheap for a coil.
If you decide to pull the trigger, measure out the resistance with a multimeter. If you're at 3-5 Ohms, hook it up to a battery and let it sit a minute and see how hot it gets. Cheap coils tend to overheat very easily and I've had some get too hot to touch after only a minute or so.
My coils are drawing way too much current and draining battery; getting hot, burnt fuse on my cb 360. Should I consider getting a 5 ohm brand name cool?Never heard of the brand, but that's pretty cheap for a coil.
