Anyone running non-stock carbs on their CB360?

From what I hear, the CB360 carbs suck. That being said, I don't want to have to screw with them. Is anyone running anything else on their ride, specifically the Mikuni VM32?

360 carbs work great, as long as you use stock airbox.
I've got mine working pretty well without any filters, but, I have to make new air corrector jets and mains are still a little too big
You don't need VM32 on a 360, 30 is plenty too much enough, 28 would probably be better (particularly for road use)
I've run my bored out CJ250 (391cc) on 26mm carbs without any issues

Thanks for the info. I'm planning on not running the stock airboxes so I think I may switch over. I'll check out the 28.

Thanks for the tip. I think they're 29 stock. I'll give 'em a shot if the 360 carb suck as bad as everyone says.

im looking into getting some mukini right now and you saying that i shouldnt go with a 32mm?? that i should go with a 28?

Yes do not go 32 it is way too big for a 360 the velocity of the air being sucked through will not be high enough and fuel will not mix properly. Go 28's on a 360. 30's will work if its fairly built engine and you run WOT a lot. but 28's are the best match for a 360. Its not worth sacrificing the bikes rideability for a marginal improvement on top end power. and wow talk about bringing a thread back from the grave lol.

ya i know figured i could post and hope someone would reply..... and thanks man im really happy i asked that about the carbs
