Barber Small Bore June 2020

Some of us have been talking about hitting the Small Bore event early June 2020 at Barber - looks like a blast. Smaller event, loads of things to actually do on a bike (racing...) and what more fun is there than blasting around like hooligans on sub-200cc contraptions?

Details will continue to flow, but you can google the event and see what it's all about.

This sounds fun, I get an extra weeks vacation in 2020 in July so I may be able to swing this.

I didn't attend last year. There was some controversy about moving the event to Barber. This resulted in hard feelings between some people who had previously been good friends. Since I knew and respected people on both sides, I chose to stay home. I had attended earlier years when it was less mainstream and had a blast.

Always a challenge when a community-based event goes mainstream and gets more attention. Still looks like folks are having a blast - if there are other more local, off the beaten path events going on it would be great to hear about them.

I'm renting an apartment in South Carolina for a year or so for work and have my BMW F800ST down here (going for a ride in a minute) and the 1970 MTD Trail Flight I bought close by to prep for the Small Bore.

Would love to attend more local events in the south east.

Im hoping to make it this year. That SHOULD be the week after I get out of school for the summer

I would like to attend. Depends on my "supervisor's" schedule. Here's another one that is super fun. http://www.champsclock.com/50cc.htm

Barb and rode the True Grits 50cc run several years back on borrowed 50cc clone scooters. On that ride a couple of Aprilla 50cc bikes showed up.
