Best way to do pinstripes.....paint or vinyl?

Been Around the Block
Im looking at painting my bike in the next 2-3 weeks and am looking for the "best" way to do my striping. It will be a basic 1-1.5" white stripe flanked by 1/8" gold stripes set on blue paint...just your basic cafe triple stripe. Now, I know there is some nice vinyls that can be used for striping, but I dont know how they'd look in the wider widths. Any thoughts/recommendations?

When you say pinstriping, do you mean "lay it down by hand and brush" pinstriping? Or do you mean just paint stripe color, tape off, paint, tank color, pull off tape?

They work well. Use one shot paint in them, dry for 24, and clear. The paint goes on THICK. I should have diluted mine, but it looks nice. They only work for the small stripes though, biggest they'll do is 1/4". For the big stripe you'll need to mask and do two colors.
