Big bore kit skyteam ace 50

I installed the OOR 70cc kit on mine. They deliver it without any instructions, but I did a few searches and found DIY instructions on Youtube for fourstroke engines (other models than Ace). It was pretty easy, and I've never worked on 4-stroke mopeds before.

A tip is, you will never get old head of and the new head in with the engine in it's place. The top will hit the frame, so you need to release a few of the rear engine mounts and tilt it down.

To easily unscrew the carb, you will need to get a torx-bit with a hole in the center. The screws are special torx's with a extra nob in the middle. I managed to get them out, but destriyed them and replaced with normal hex.

No idea, didnt find the right bit so I took a small punch/chisel and knocked the little "nob" of, unscrewed them with normal torx bit and installed the new carb with normal hex screws.

Just make sure the marks for the camb shaft is correct. And hand crank the engine to check if the valves hit the piston before you start the engine.

I've just done this.... Best mod EVER.... If you look on the Skyteam FB page I posted a CB50 manual which isn't 100% the same but enough to scrape through.

The worst bit was trying to get the philips bolt connecting the head to the cyclinder

Okey! Seems doable then.

The biggest problem I Think is getting the valves right when installing the new head.

Theres problably a mark on the flywheel for Tdc but how do I know the cam/valves also is Tdc ?

Do you have any picstures of the marks on the cam shaft?

Don't know if I had beginners luck, but I put the bottom in Tdc by checkibg the marks. Just put the head on and installed the chain. Revolved it a couple of times, made shure nothing interfered. Then just put everything together and started it up. Ran some short runs. Then changed oil to good Castrol 4-stroke. Now I've done just over 100 miles/150 km without detectable problems. I installed the whole OOR big bore kit with a new head with cylinder installed.

Nei, desverre. Men ligger videoer på youtube. Ganske enkelt.

I think the torque setting is on page 2 of the 50cc torque document and the clearances are on p72 of the manual.

Documents are here....
