Man, spend 20 minutes with a greasy rag and wipe that poor bike down :) The more blingy parts you put on it the dirtier the fenders etc. look!

I think I'm going to get some BMW passenger pegs for my Voodoo frame now that I have a look at yours. Been looking for a folding peg, although given the Airhead's front pegs are rigid maybe I'm overthinking the need for folding.

Got her running, had to do some adjusting and I still have to do some adjustments(hanging after throttle pull) . It's to snow to drive to my warm garage. Can't wait for a warmer, non snowy road day. I'll post some video.

Congrats on making noise!

That symptom is frequently (but not always) a carb synch issue or an air leak issue.

Progress is progress!

I'm thinking sync issue, can't wait to ride the beast! Sound a lot different than my xs for sure.

Small update, I finally drove it to my "warm" garage. I've been working on my XS650 the last few weeks so the BMW is on the side burner for now.

Unfortunately I got laid off work today. So this is going up for sale. Amidst selling my house and buying a new one, I get laid off... Good times good times :-(

Now that is truly a pisser. Good luck to you and yours.

Thanks, I already have an interview for another job, but with the layoff and the house hunting I'll need to let this baby go.

Well apparently my wife is cooler than I thought. She told me to not sell it. Huh who would have thought.

That is tragic man, good luck on that interview! And that's awesome to hear about your wife.. that's love right there, to let your loved one keep something they love. Cool stuff!

Got it idling pretty good. There is some dark fluid driping out of one of the headers where it connects to the exhaust. I'm hoping the new/used headers had done buildup that is burning off
