Stopped by the tow yard today today to get the bike off the lot there and outta storage. They are going to bring the bike back to the house a little later today.

I snapped some quick pics at the tow yard. Tank is kaput. Seat ripped fly screen scratched up clutch perch destroyed Shift lever broken handlebars may be tweaked. It’s gonna need some serious lovin’ to get back to herself. Again we’ll see what the insurance wants to do. They might not be able to really do well with valuing all the custom shit.the tow yard let the battery run down it’s on the charger to see if it will still start.

sue the bastard! that could be a lot worse but insurance may decide it's not worth fixing. you do have all the proof in pics of all the work you've done though.

All I can say is that you must have huge balls of steel to do that much damage to the back/top of the tank.

Heal up fast and the bike will be fine in time.

Quick update... I'm healing, still sore and tender in the rib meat. The bike is scheduled to be picked up by Windy City Triumph on the 23rd. for a repair estimate. It's not running, I suspect something involving the fuel pump is the culprit there... it probably suffered some damage in the tank crushing. So we'll see what the estimate rings in at and what the insurance options are.
