Nope sorry dont want anything in the fibergalss tail. got to be something tucked up underneath really clean. The bike looks soo cool right now without one, I just dont want to spoil the look.

Rusty, Yup based out of Caledon, but I own Studio Cycle on Dundas & Keele so I'm in the city alot.

Oh!? I was not aware of your shop before. Via your website: looks like a big shop. Might have to come take a look some time.

Epoxy is fine to paint over no issues you just need to make sure your using the right products.

In most cases you can spray it wet, and then just spray the color right over top before its fully dry.

Psssst... I'm stalking you...hahahaha i parked next to a black chevy shortbox with studiocycle decals on the side.. @ Milton superstore .. Lol

Hey Rattlecan,

I want to start off by saying what an awesome build this is. I love the machine work, attention to detail and the front end.

Here is what I did for my tail light, it is as about as minimal as you can get . You could paint the board black if wanted as long as you didn't cover the LED's to hide it even more. but I set it up with a running red light so it is always on.

if you need some info let me know

Not to highjack the thread, but GoingsMoto do you have a write up of how you did the LED strip tail light somewhere? I've been trying to figure out how to set one up, maybe even go the route of intergrated signals if it's not terribly complex.

Rattlecan- that sprocket adapter looks pretty trick, can't wait to see how things turn out.

thanks man, I was reading thru the build when you posted this, that's one helluva a bike! I like the styling and the use of the headlight, i think one of the newer MVs or Aprilia's has a similar light to that V-rod light you used. They was a place that sells them new for like $120-130 if you ever need to source them again. I'll see if I can find the link to their website.

Nevermind about the light, it was thru www.zanottimotor.com but they went under at the beginning of the year. :-[
