Well, after a ridiculous amount of reading and research, I was able to figure out what my tail lights needed.
So it needs 2 lights, and the brake needs to be grounded separately as the switch IS the ground wire. The original lights are still manufactured, but I have to order them from Germany and that will take forever to get here.

It doesn't look too but but works really well. Now I wanna ride..... But it's raining..... FML
