"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

Some long travel dirt bike forks, long shocks and a HUGE rear sprocket to compensate for the "Rubble's" lack of torque... it would probably still suck at it. But it would at least look like they intended it to be something kind of useful...

If you're going to spend good money modifying a micro bike, at least try to do something interesting with it... perfect donor motor for a CL72 tribute build or such. At least that would be historically correct: a 250 street bike with (mild) knobbies, (barely) tolerable suspension, (somewhat) decent fuel economy, and iffy (in reality horrible) ergonomics.

Even a BSA Bantam knock off would be interesting. That Honolulu bike? Can you say "Rolling Abortion" boys and girls? Good... I knew you could... ;D

Not because it's an abortion , quite the opposite it's mostly stock and well taken care of . Not merely because the addition of a low bar does not a "cafe racer" make (it doesn't) . but because the dolt has the unmitigated gall to ask that much money for a bone stock classic or not Honda .

I could have added the CL 90 that somewhere in it's tag puke at the bottom of the add had "cafe racer" includer with shch terms as gixxr , bobber , chopper and drag bike ....

I used to care the least little bit and out of sheer annoyance I would flag those posts as miss-categorized and stay on them till they changed their ways . Now my searches and rss are a bit more intelligent and I don't see them . I get the whole want your item to be seen deal but I for one will not be looking for tomato soup next to sanitary napkins or tooth paste next to preparation H .

+10000 I see these all the time. Bone stock, asking 3-4K. Granted, when we've cut all of the old bikes up, some of these MIGHT be worth this in 5-50 years...

I picked by my cb350 in Miami...the prices there are all higher (I admitted dropped to much on mine) . But there are a ton of good bikes. (where do you think Dime City Cycles picked up their stuff) Some of the bikes Kasi posted were pretty legit.

Agre some weirdoes out there .
I always look for a Bike/Project to bring back with me to Aruba over here Miami but it is tougher and tougher to find one for a decent price and everything what is kind of old and has an Ace Bar is a Cafe Racer and 1500 $ + more expensive then usual .

I would have it already but the kid is hell bent on trading it for a snow mobile....Plus i'm broke and traded my moped for a GS750 a couple weeks ago....so room is getting tight
