"1971 Honda CB 175 CB175 Project Bike Cafe Racer classic"

No price in the ad, but I called him. $650 for a non-titled CB175 with a seized engine, rusted out tank, fried seat, and missing one exhaust. I told him it might fetch $200 for parts if he's lucky, but he said he's sticking with $650...

Hmmm. '67 Bridgestone 90cc Sport

If you're trying to sell something for $10k, at least take some photos where there's not shit strewn all over the place.

I honestly don't know what to make of it. It's very far from my style, seems well built, and I'm sure someone is going to love it. Personally I feel like it's a ruined cbx, mostly with that gigantic rear wheel.

You've never been to Detroit. They love a wide rear there.

"This is a very customized motorcycle that really belongs in a museum or hanging from the ceiling in a restaurant."

Best CL line I've seen in ages.

I guess I'll try again, but first: remember that I'm not telling you not to post racist shit. I'm just calling you out when you do (perhaps less frequently than you used to, but still).

"That bike is a piece of shit. No white man could have made that."
This assumes that white people don't make pieces of shit like that, but rather people of other races do. Do you understand how that's racist?

Wait, here comes Tuna, calling me a "race baiter" again... wait for it...

Nobody said "All lives matter" much less "white lives matter" until the black lives matter movement started; they were reactions. But we have institutions -- the police, for example -- that discriminate against a particular ethnic minority (and some others as well) as borne out by analysis. When someone is at a dinner table and is not being served food and says "hey, I matter!", the response isn't to say "everyone matters" (or as you have said "my group matters") and then drown out or ignore the very real complaint that person is making.

I can guess where you get your news from, and there's little I can do about that except say that the right wing has created an echo chamber that continually reinforces its ideas and denigrates those who think differently. This also means that aside from being detached from reality and critical thinking, you will likely never change your mind.

BLM is not Obama's movement, BLM is not openly murdering cops as you assert -- these statements are not based on reality. One clearly mentally disturbed person shot those cops in Dallas, and that was a tragedy. Bad apples in law enforcement are murdering young people of color and getting away with it. We can't always prevent sociopaths from acting out, but we can act to change institutions that have proven bias and protect bad apples.

I'd really like to avoid locking this thread, so lets lay out some ground rules so we all can continue to have a good time.

Let's keep this thread dedicated to motorcycles. If you want to talk shit about bike, that's cool, but let's not make any assumptions about the owner, seller, buyer, etc. I don't want to race, gender, religion or any other shit to be a part of the running commentary. Keep the politics in another thread as well, please.
