Same bike is on Ebay. It's got 16 bids up to $1225, far cry from what he's asking. I think sometimes people put prices on stuff just looking for the lone sucker to take advantage of. He puts a $5k bike on for $10K and some fool low balls him at $6K thinking he's gotten over on the seller. This must be the case here because that bike isn't worth anywhere near $10k or $9995.
New it was less than $3K.

Talked to the guy and he said it's all there except the seat, it looks a bit rough but not awful. Calling DMV tomorrow to check on title situation. Worth it for $150 as a little commuter?

Looks like it passes the part-it-out-for-more test, but would be good to know how long it's been sitting with the carbs off, condition of the engine, etc. It'd be a gamble and might cost more to get it running and legal than it's worth.
