I see $1500 max in mods on that $6500 package.

That' called lucrative business. Right or Wrong, Like it or Not, if they are making it work they are running a successful business. (well that is if they are actually getting orders)

Justin Bieber would buy one of each just to piss on at a party... the majority with the cash is clueless.

Wonder what I'm gonna price my CB at... I think 25K and hope for $6500

That's what I mean. If I could build bikes all day with pods and cosmetic work and turn a profit like that, ya'll could talk all the crap you wanted while I was making bank.

Just like all the people buying the "patina" hot rods for big bucks. The other hot rod guys are mad cuz they just spent 10k to paint their car like an easter egg, and the faded paint next to it is getting more attention.

Its whats "in" right now, and people are cashing in on it.

I agree. We know they had one customer. :)

ok this is not mc but it involves rubber
on one of my secret ebay searches i saw the sellers name was "chickenrubber"
so i emailed 'em in my best broken english and asked \
please sir where to rub the chicken ? is best ? you rub chicken ankle? or rubbing the flipper ? :)

That's a fine way to learn more than you ever wanted to know. Trust me, XB, being a smartass will make things dangerously interesting in time.

So while looking for inspiration for a new build somebody in OK just commissioned, I stumbled upon this and thought everybody should have a turn at laughing over this sad git.

the pegs are at the same height for both of them :-\ sometimes I wish I were 5-11 175 instead of 6-2 275 so I could smoke around on 500's :-[

Hey tuna-boy, what bikes suit you for all-day riding comfort? Flat-footing and leg-room?

The commissioned build I'm doing now is for somebody exactly your size and I'm trying to make the GS1000 work.

More important is how big are his feet? Little rearsets won't work.

Build something like a Ducati Hypermotard. Lots of leg and feet room.

Haven't been on in a while... Been flipping bikes and riding a Transalp for a change. I think I'm an ADV guy :-[

Anyways, here's a local abortion! http://bham.craigslist.org/mcy/5302794383.html

I'd say pay attention to the seat height. You can cheat a bit with more foam/height. Just as us short guys cheat by taking more foam away... :) It's amazing what an inch in seat height will do.

Don't judge me.. But I like the Roadglide with Streetglide seat so about 26.5 in the saddle on boards with highways set low maybe 3-4" up from the end of radius... 28psi in the shocks 40psi 2 up.

Lol thanks. I'll have to cram him up there somehow considering I just bought it on his behalf.

Look around for a solid used corbin with the hump back just a tad or pull the foam out and trim the hump back 2-2 1/2" I know those had crash bars available... they look hideous but getting those legs out on long rides is more important.

That GS will be the shit with some massaging, decent power and no worries in the wind all day.

PS.. progressive shocks will be a must, and the front end will need em also but let him ride it mushy first
