I would pay 200 right now for just the engine and wheels from the cm250.

Anybody close, keep that in mind. Lots of stuff left over after that.

I'm obviously not as ambitious as you. ;D

I often wonder how many people realize that the bottom end bolt pattern on those engines is the same as all the small thumpers. If I ever built another ATC for the street it would have that engine in it.

Also means that lifan and honda thumpers bolt in the cm's.

Well, you know. Almost.

Re: "Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

I'm tempted to call and see which is the "runner." Since I definitely need another CM200
Shoot him a lowball and part the Yamaha out to make it back

That a cm200 in the pic? I was thinking cm250. All the previous awap info is the same either way.

Yeah, 200 or 185. It's got the old downtube frame, the 250 frame was different. Engine sits a bit lower in the 250 frame to account for the longer stroke and it's all tube instead of stamped.

Good call. I'd rather have the 81-83 cm250c engine.

That's the one I put in my 200 frame. Chain drive too so that made it easier as well
