CB 750 carbs checklist before install

Update: the bike runs great. Finally put a day permit on it and I'm very happy with it. Checked the pipes temp and they're all within 20* of each other so I think that is more than fine.

The battery gave me some trouble so she had to come home in my father in laws handicapable van! :D

Swapped in the battery out of my ATV and it was all good rest of the day.

The carbs do seem to have one issue: when you open the throttle all the way, there seems to be a split second period where it feels like it slows down before revs climb up. Not really something I care to fix as it's so minor, but curious what it could be!

Is that when you crack the throttle open quick or when you roll it on?

It was when you crack it wide open. I mean it pulls well, so I assume the accelerator pump is working well?

No leaks on the carbs anywhere and as far as I can tell no leaks around the intake boots.

From what I understand you may need to adjust the pump a bit. Sounds like it needs to give it a little more juice.

Some of the other boys probably have more info.

Hmm. Maybe. I know you can bend the little arm that presses down onto it, but with everything closed up and on the bike I wouldnt know how much nor how to tell.

I'm all ears for suggestions though :)
