Hey guys I know that this has been asked but........I've seen several fork swap on the cb360 mainly gsxr what actually goes into this... Is this a direct fit thanks for any info
There is a member on here that has successfully done a swap, and it was with Honda forks not gsxr. Ill try and dig up the thread. Basically there is a bearing website which gives you a conversion chart and you have to Frankenstein between the new front end and the CB front end to get everything to fit. Takes some trial and error I haven't seen a direct swap guide. Ill see if I can post it later tonight.

If the steering stem is too long, spacers are easy enough.
If it's too short, things get a lot more involved, even with 'correct' bearing set
I've been fitting Suzuki Katana forks to my CB360 and XS650's as they were real cheap a few years ago
Fitting to 360 is easy as swapping steering stem from one yoke to the other

Cool, my 360 is disc. I'd like to run a new caliper and a fork/caliper matching rotor. Would this be an easier swap than a Hurricane 600 front end? That's what I had been considering.
I see, before I ask too many questions do you have the Katana swap detailed somewhere? Sounds easy enough, just like to see the steps
If I use the Katana caliper does that require the Katana rotor to be set up on the CB hub or can the CB rotor be used somehow?
Katana rotor or similar has to be used, it's set up for larger diameter.
Easiest is probably Kawasaki EXD500 front rotor conversion onto CB360 rotor carrier (although a spacer plate would have to be made)

Towards bottom of page is where I did some grinding and welding, further along somewhere is where I took an early CB350 stem out of yoke.
They are pressed in and use a taper plug to lock things into position, it should be possible to remove Suzuki stem and fit early 350 stem in it's place.
You wouldn't need to do any welding going that route.
