Cant quite figure out how this spring and adjusment screw at the brake pedal all jive??

Any help would be appreciated. also this is a 75 cb360 and mounting a cl360 pedal........thanks for the help gents. ;)

It's kinda tricky to get on, the spring that is. I usually install, make sure the little bend it propped behind the metal stopper on the frame, and then use pliers to pull the part of the spring "the L you could say" that sits behind the brake pedal around to add tension/spring. From there you use the adjuster spring that pushes against the brake pedal to set the height, too high and it will rub against the cover.

Keep in mind, if you look at a fiche page it makes it look like the spring goes on the outside of the brake pedal, however it actually sits in the inside, closer to the swing arm.

It just takes some sitting and looking at it to figure it out, trust me I was in the same boat as you. I had not seen it installed b4....

Here hope this helps, I took a pic before I took mine apart.

I could be wrong, but I think the CL pedal isn't compatible with the CB brake cam. I had a ton of hassle converting my CJ pedal to a CB. Big differences in the frame and the pedals.

Bump......I still can't figure out how to get the Cl pedal on my CB frame. If I have to chop and weld that's fine I just want someone to shine some light thanks.....

I got the CL spring to work on my CB. I had to place it kind of funny. I wasn't sure if the way I have it would hold up, but it has been ok for over 1000miles. Hard to explain, I will take a picture an post it when I get back home.

OK so that helped I have the spring installed but how do you lock the peadal down so that it doesn't activate the brakes ob the upswing?

I hope that explains it well enough.

Thanks for the help
