CB360 Shifter rod

Hi all,

Getting my rat CB360 cafe ready to hit the road. She runs, alls good. One issue. The shifter rod is stripped. Got a new shifter and thats all good. But the rod itself, either needs to be modified or replaced. Cannot find a new part for this. Any ideas where I can get a good one or a replacement?

I assume you mean the shaft that the lever keys onto and has the arm that rotates the drum on the other end? When mine was stolen the knurling was stripped right of by the thieves. I found a mint one on ebay. Looks like there are plenty on there still (in the US anyway). I would check there and just search cb360 shifter shaft. Someone one here may have a spare too. Unfortunately there is no realistic way of getting that back in a lathe to fix it. The used ones are cheap and and super easy to replace I dont think you have to even remove the clutch basket I could be misremembering that though.
