cb750 clutch or clutch springs in a cb360?

I doubt they would interchange. Have you cross referenced the part numbers on Bikebandit?

Why?

Other than as an interesting exercise to see if it could be done, is there an issue with your 360 clutch? They are tough as old boots and are capable of handling way more power than the average 360 can make.

No nothing wrong with the clutch. Just talking to one of the guys at work that had a 360 when he was younger and he said he put 750 springs and clutch and he said that it was easy to keep the front wheel in the air. Not that I condone wheelies but on the 1/8 mile it would be nice to know I'm not gonna burn the clutch up dumping it at a higher rpm. Just a little curious if aiyone has ever heard of this

Stronger springs are an advantage when the clutch is slipping because it makes more power than stock. If that guy was trying to explain that his motor made so much power that he needed more clutch tension, that's one thing.

But just adding stronger springs makes no difference to performance. Might get a sore wrist, but that's about all.

I put a 750 clutch cable in my 360 for a while. It worked was just too long. Not sure if that would be the same with the spring.

It's easy to keep the front wheel in the air when you reach balance point, but, the 360 doesn't have enough power to just hold it up when accelerating ('power wheelie')
Stock clutch is fine but I would go with heavy duty clutch springs and be real careful on set-up and adjustment. (I have stock clutch and stock springs in my 391cc CJ '250')
The springs same as CB350twin and will cost about $15.00)

yeah i knew it wouldnt actually give anything from a performance stand point. just the ability to have the clutch hold tighter when dumping it at a higher rpm. thanks everyone .
