Coast to Coast
Here's the story. I just tore the top end down to instal new rings. Now that everything is back on i cannot get the bike to start. Nothing has changed. Iam wondering if i may have put the cam shaft in wrong, cam sprocket? The bike just cranks and cranks.
Other issue i have is now when i turn the rotor cc after a full turn or so it stops, locks up on something in the engine .
Any ideas what i screwed up?

You fucked up your timing....

Consult the manual for proper timing procedures, cam position, etc....

You may have bent a valve, as what sounds like is happening is you are colliding the piston into at-least 2 of the valves....

not so expensive to fix but might have made a bit of trouble for yourself

sounds like your cam timing is off. Engine lock up is most likely your piston contacting a valve because they are not in time properly. If you've turned the engine over with the electric start or kicker before trying it by hand there's a good chance you bent a valve. Open that sucker up again and have a look.

bob.
