CL360 Upper Damper (Slipper Tensioner) - Needed?

cleoncleon

Been Around the Block
I'm putting my tensioner back together and I don't seem to have the Upper Damper A.
The tensioner arm has the Lower Damper B, I see the little flange towards the back of it..

Do I NEED the upper damper?

and.

Does anyone have a picture of the actual thing? In the case that I do need it, I could try and make something similar.
It fits inside the Slipper Holder.

Thanks

Are you looking for the "Rubber" inside the Cam tensioner Holster piece? The small bracket at the top of the Cam tensioner ? If so you may be in luck, I just tore apart my parts bike to steal a valve and I think that piece is in my wheel barrow behind the shed. If so PM me or post and maybe send a pic of what you have so I know we are referencing the same piece....

I think we are sir!

I went to the record store today.. Sold my Velvet Underground & Nico album for motorcycle parts..
Not sure if this build is healthy for my sanity.. :-\

But I just placed an order for one from (Hondarestoration.com )
$10.95 shipped.. That little #10, piece.

I really wish I saw your message first.
I'd would still be listening to Venus in Furs..

Record? What's that? ;D

Motorcycle parts are harder to come by (and last longer if you're lucky) than an album. Besides, that's what MP3's are for!

Hahaa!

Rich, can this apply to school books aswell? - Besides, that's what AudioBooks are for! (MP3 format.. just cause I can)

Ha! College textbooks are way too expensive and high school textbooks are so outdated they are worthless. So I see no problems!

Wait a minute, if you can't find the damper could it have fallen into your lower end? It happened to me.
