CM400 in Richmond VA

Greetings! I'm not entirely sure how I ended up on this site, as this appears to be a mostly cafe oriented build forum, but I am in need of some help nonetheless. I recently acquired someones abandoned 1979 CM400T project and I'm looking to get it back on the road. Some parts are missing, others are no good, so I'm hoping someone here will be able to point me in the direction of a good parts resource.

Right off the bat I'm looking for some knowledge -

-My bike came without a front caliper or hose, I have found one from a 1981 CM400C but it is a 2 pot caliper. Will this bolt up and be functional on my single pot rotor and fork? If not, is there another one from another model that I am able to use?
-The output seal on the transmission at the chain gear is leaking, does anyone know the part number for this seal or can point me in the right direction to be able to buy a new one? (Is there a "Rock Auto" type resource for motorcycles?)

I'm no stranger to turning a wrench, but motorcycles are relatively new territory for me. I absolutely appreciate any help and information that can be given, I'm really looking forward to getting this bike out on the road, thank you!

bikebandit.com. My first bike was a CM400T. If your carbs are shot Murray's Carbs makes an upgrade set of Mikuni's that will make the bike run better than new. Welcome to DTT, there is lots of info on here for these little twins. I miss mine sometimes. it was a lot of fun to bomb around the back roads on.

Cheers.

This link is SO helpful, thank you so much, I've already found several parts that I needed in just a few minutes!

ALLEGEDLY these carbs have been completely rebuilt (They are certainly very clean), but if they don't want to co-operate, I will definitely take that to mind, thank you!
