Here's a preview of a custom Brat Seat I've completed out of a leather jacket, per the customer's request. This is a brat style seat for a 1971 CB350. Let me know what you think.
I figured the pocket added character and style, and if I was gonna use it I might as well make it functional...Reg, Ins, Beer money, ID, or whatever you'd like it to be.
I also used the bottom band of the jacket with its adjusters as the boxing of the seat...On the bike, these will be more apparent.
Contact me on here or via Info@MXSeatPro.com if you need a seat done or advice on how to upholster a seat.
Serizawa Tamao - I use what is called a "Topper Pad". Its a fairly dense 1" thick piece that is commonly used in furniture upholstery. I stack qty 2 of them together to reach the height I was after. There's also a few lil tricks to add cush to it so its not too dense, but this will be the base for you to build off of.
