I have been searching and searching and searching some more but cannot find a nice custom oil tank. I am not into the sphere or octagon type tanks (to chopper-ish for my style) Does anyone know anywhere that makes a nice custom tank for the cb750, that is somewhat reasonable in price? I looked at benji's stuff but 300 is a bit much. I have also tried contacting cyclexchange with no luck of the 10 times I have called them. I am willing to pay good money for a good looking oil tank. Any help appreciated.

Dunno if this will help, but I've been holding this idea for a later project. I built this for my old china scooter that needed an oil catch. Hose from the crankcase used to go into the air filter housing, and overflow oil and gases end up in this piece. It fit nicely in the original space under the seat, the hose went in through a fitting that I mounted by drilling through the bottom of the shaker, and I could loosen the hose clamps to remove it to drain out any excess fluid through the vented strainer end. I fashioned it out of an aluminum martini shaker and some 4" hose clamps. Cost less than 25 bucks. I dunno if this will suit your needs, but perhaps it will inspire new ideas.
